On arrival at Tocumen International Airport, passengers will go through customs and immigration. Our representative will meet the group at the arrival hall to take the transportation to Casco Viejo, at down town Panama. Check in and dinner at Hotel Panama Central.

DAY02: CASCO ANTIGUO and EMBERAS

After picking you up at your hotel, we will go to Alajuela Lake where we will board a ¨piragua¨, a traditional indigenous boat, heading to the Mono waterfall where we can swim and refresh. Later we will go to Tusipono Embera, a small traditional village located in the bank of the Chagres River in the middle of the rainforest. The Emberas will show their traditions, their way of dressing and how they elaborate their handcrafts. They will perform their traditional dances and music and we will have time for interacting directly with them. We will enjoy lunch prepared by the Embera community.

We will return to your hotel at 2:30 p.m.

DAY03: THE SEVEN CHURCHES

Easter Sunday is when people will get to know more about the seven churches. It is a very intimate process for those who profess the Catholic faith. For tourists, it is not only the religious part, but also to see the history behind.

It is not surprising that there are so many churches in Casco Viejo. One of the main objectives of the Spanish (and Portuguese) colonizers was to indoctrinate the indigenous people in the new world. Converting them to Catholic would make them friendlier.

In Panama there is a freedom of worship according to the Constitution of the Republic of Panama. However 63% are Catholics.

DAY04: ANTON VALLEY – NATURE

After breakfast, begins our trip to El Valle de Anton. El Valle’ means the Valley, and this beautiful region just a few hours out of Panama City is much more than a valley, it is a volcanic crater from many years ago. You will find an abundance of natural beauty amidst canyons, waterfalls and spectacular

After check in and lunch at the hotel Los Mandarinos, we will visit the serpentarium and a butterfly farm and the end of the afternoon will be spent at the thermal waters.
